In 2 days we will launch our ‘PAD in DK 2021’ survey. We wanted to create a survey for People of African Descent (PAD) by PAD. So, what do we want to achieve? We want to collect information from adult PAD (18+ years) from various backgrounds in Denmark, on topics ranging from education to everyday life. The survey is for citizens AND residents of Denmark. The purpose of the survey is to provide insight into the varied life experiences of PAD in Denmark. This would allow us to emphasise specific adjustments, training or interventions to shape future policy, for instance, identifying discrimination and biases in healthcare settings, as well as holding institutes accountable for their failure to address issues and concerns pertaining to PAD.
