UN Definition for people of African descent

The UN Definition for people of African descent is as follows : people of African descent may be defined as descendants of the African victims of the trans-Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea slave trade. The group includes those of the sub-Sahara slave trade however for the definition to be complete, it must also include Africans and their descendants who after their countries independence, emigrated to or went to work in Europe Canada and the Middle East. According to danish data there is about 53.000 people who fall under this definition living in Denmark. What the danish numbers do not take into account is PADS from western countries with mixed populations, PADS born as danish nationals and other groups. How can we know the magnitude of a problem without knowing how many people are affected by it? Help us get more data by taking our survey and sharing it with other PADS.
